Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Black food coloring or edible black gel (for the swirl)
- Optional: dark chocolate chunks or crushed cookies for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and cool.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then add vanilla and sour cream. Divide batter in half.
- Color one half with black food coloring to create a dark swirl.
- Pour plain batter into the crust, then add spoonfuls of the black batter on top. Use a skewer or toothpick to swirl gently, creating a marbled effect.
- Place the springform pan in a water bath. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is just set but slightly jiggly. Cool inside the oven for 1 hour, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Decorate with dark chocolate chunks, crushed cookies, or themed sprinkles before serving. Optional garnish includes edible glitter or gummy worms for added spooky effect.
Notes
- Use high-quality black food coloring for vibrant marbling.
- To prevent cracks, bake in a water bath and avoid overmixing the batter.
- Chill thoroughly for clean slices and optimal flavor.
