Ingredients
Scale
- 4 swordfish steaks (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Vegetables of choice (e.g., asparagus, bell peppers, broccoli)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat swordfish steaks dry and place in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and add garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and thyme. Massage the marinade into the fish.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place marinated swordfish steaks on the sheet and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
- Bake swordfish in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with your favorite vegetables.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freezing is an option; wrap well to prevent freezer burn.
- Consider marinating swordfish overnight for deeper flavors.
