Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 lemons (sliced)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Sprinkle minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper on top.
- Place thin lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet. The lemon not only adds flavor but also keeps the salmon moist while baking.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Avoid overcooking to keep the salmon tender.
Notes
- Use fresh salmon for the best texture and taste.
- Don’t skip the olive oil—it helps keep the salmon moist.
- Adjust baking time based on the thickness of your fillets.
- For extra zest, squeeze additional lemon juice before serving.
