- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a touch of heat
Instructions
- Cut the pressed tofu into approximately 1-inch cubes and marinate with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for 15-20 minutes.
- Coat each tofu cube in cornstarch, ensuring all sides are covered.
- Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC), line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and arrange the tofu cubes in a single layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Make sure to press the tofu thoroughly before marinating.
- Do not overcrowd the baking sheet for even cooking.
- Flip the tofu halfway through baking to enhance crispiness.
- Optionally, spray lightly with oil before baking for extra crispiness.
