Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. In another shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  3. Dip chicken strips in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally dredge in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Place breaded chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Let chicken tenders rest for a few minutes before serving.
