- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or ranch dressing (optional)
- Tortilla chips for serving
- Fresh celery sticks and carrots for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by boiling, baking, or shredding pre-cooked rotisserie chicken.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and sour cream until smooth.
- Add the shredded chicken and half of the cheddar cheese, mixing well to coat evenly. Fold in blue cheese or ranch if desired.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until bubbling and golden. Optionally, broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then serve hot with tortilla chips and vegetable sticks.
Notes
- Can be prepared a day in advance; store covered in refrigerator and bake before serving.
- Adjust spice level by choosing milder or hotter buffalo sauce.
- Serve with assorted dippables like celery, carrots, or pita chips for variety.
