  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • Sour cream and salsa for serving
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the filling by browning the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened and let it cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the taco bombs by placing 2-3 tablespoons of the meat filling in the center of a tortilla, adding shredded cheese and toppings. Fold and roll into a tight parcel.
  3. Prepare the air fryer by preheating it to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spraying the basket with cooking spray or brushing with olive oil.
  4. Cook the taco bombs seam side down in the basket, leaving space between each. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
