Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional for color)
- Fresh dill, chopped (for the dill sauce)
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 3-5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sprinkle chopped dill on top if desired.
- Arrange the seasoned salmon fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has a crispy exterior.
- While the salmon cooks, prepare the dill sauce by mixing sour cream or Greek yogurt with lemon juice, Dijon mustard, chopped dill, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Serve the hot salmon drizzled with the fresh dill sauce, alongside healthy sides like salads, roasted vegetables, or quinoa.
Notes
- Use fresh dill for the best flavor in your dill sauce.
- Adjust seasonings according to taste preferences.
- Avoid overcrowding in the air fryer basket to ensure proper airflow and even cooking.
- For extra crispy skin, lightly spray the salmon with cooking spray before air frying.
